Ops

This page provides an overview of Jim's Operational Sorties, or "Ops". A standard "tour" or required number of Ops for crew was 30, with Jim ending up doing an extra one to finish his tour with 31 operations.

The table below summarises his tour of Ops and includes a transcription of his official remarks from his logbook as well as his personal remarks from a notebook that he kept. See the Glossary for any terms that are not familiar.
